Key Staff

Brothers John, Mike, and Theo Anest founded A3 Construction Inc., to help meet the need for high quality, reliable construction companies. With collectively 30+ years of experience in the industry, the Anest brothers display a broad range of knowledge and experience that have shaped A3 Construction into one of the most trusted teams to work with in Colorado.

John has 12 years construction experience managing commercial and industrial projects throughout the Western US and Colorado. Since he was young, John has loved construction and remembers constructing his first project at age 13. Growing up he framed houses, built decks, and moved dirt in the summers and during college to learn more about the industry. John graduated from Colorado State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Construction Management. In his time at CSU, John served as the President and Vice President of the Construction Management Program. He has experience working with large International, Fortune 500 companies, as well as small, family-owned local outfits. John specializes in managing complex projects of all sizes. By taking an analytical approach, John takes most pride in his ability to work with his clients to help proactively identify risks within the project. This practical focus allows A3 Construction and their team to deliver and perfect their work within the allocated budget and timeline.

Mike has 10 years construction experience managing large commercial and infrastructure projects. He has managed a variety of projects including the CU Recreational Center, sports complexes, student housing, class A office buildings, tenant finish and bridges. He graduated Cum Laude from Colorado State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Construction Management. Mike stream lines the design, engineering, and permitting, so your project can grow from a concept to reality in no time.

Theo has been involved in the formation and management of several successful small businesses. After nearly 10 years experience running various operations, he brings a diverse set of business skills to assist A3 Construction as we continue to grow. Theo was awarded by the Colorado Biz Magazine as one of the Top 25 Young Professionals in 2012, and has since continued to impact multiple operations across Colorado and Wyoming. Responsible for the marketing, accounting and managing the human resource department, his contributions are vital to A3 Constructors as we continue our rapid growth.

Jim has been involved in all aspects of real estate legal representation including the acquisition, development and ownership formation phases for his law practice clients. As an acquisition and development attorney, he was involved in multiple shopping center purchases and sales, apartment projects and residential/agricultural developments. The combined per-square footage of these retail, commercial and residential properties exceed one million square feet and has closed, participated in the pre-sale negotiations, contract drafting, due diligence review and research and closings that exceed $150,000,000.00. He has served as the primary lead attorney for the acquisition, financing, construction, and development of various real estate ventures, counsel for the lender entity including zoning, annexations and other issues facing developers in the acquisition and sale of individual residential properties, commercial land as well as ranch/agricultural land and distressed property sales.
